Maximo 7.6.1.x will reach end of support (EOS) on September 30, 2025. What once felt like a distant deadline is now less than a year away. The Maximo Application Suite (MAS) version 9.0 was released in June 2024, following the maturation of versions 8.0 in 2020 and 8.4 in 2021. Is Pursuing Maximo Certification Worthwhile? The answer varies depending on who you ask. From Interloc Solutions’ culture and my personal perspective, Maximo certifications hold significant value. Whether you are a newcomer to Maximo or an experienced consultant, the journey towards Maximo certification not only reveals your depth of knowledge, but also propels you towards expanding your professional expertise. Acquiring Maximo certification(s) brings advantages to the individual and the employing organization, especially if it is a solution provider, like Interloc, committed to delivering high-quality services to clients. I've joined the ranks of 23 other Interloc team members in acquiring Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Manage certification(s), motivated in part by Interloc's strong encouragement for pursuing such certifications. With each major release of Maximo (now Manage), IBM introduces a new set of certifications having two MAS Manage related certification opportunities.
